Robots, autonomous artefacts, connected objects: how to conceive and grasp these strange objects that renew our interactions with others and with the world? We are more and more frequently invited to create relationships with robots or machines, whether for practical (therapeutic, professional, scientific) or playful purposes. This type of relationship seems to be rapidly moving beyond simple functional use, automatic reaction or mechanical actions, to some interactions in which we tend to interpret the behaviour of these objects. Why and how are we tempted to interact with these unusual objects that come to life, move and evolve? The study of these objects is of interest to a wide range of fields in science, art and design. Robotics, AI, art and design, anthropology, psychology, philosophy, sociolinguistics... each field develops its own concepts, methods and tools, often in multidisciplinary contexts. What answers can philosophers give to roboticists? How can psychology benefit from the work of the anthropologists? Can artists contribute to the sociolinguistics of interactions? The objective of this interdisciplinary conference is to cross scientific views and practices regarding these new objects and the interactions they generate.
