The "Nano-Optics and Nanomaterials for Optics" group is interested in the interaction of light with matter structured at mesoscopic or nanometer scale:

• Study of the influence of size, shape, structuration and coupling between nano-objects on their linear and nonlinear optical properties, their electronic and vibrational dynamics.

• Exploitation of these effects to tailor the optical response of individual nano-objects or a set of nano-objects either in the near-field or in the far-field.

• Design and fabrication of two- or three-dimensional architectures of nano-objects and microstructured materials for applications in fields as diverse as spectroscopy, nano-medicine, photocatalysis, photovoltaics or home automation.
